Snow on the Mountains is a perennial that can also be categorized as a wildflower. Many mistake this plant as a weed and when they see it growing they will pull it up or mow over it without realizing what it is. During the summer, it can give a full show it can give off a great site. The flowers are seen in large clusters that will be seen in light green but by the end of the season will turn a stunning white. This plant will have blooms that can be seen during the hot part of the summer when other plants cannot tolerate the heat.
The snow on the mountain can grow both indoors and outdoors. This perennial can be cut fresh and brought indoors for a showcase piece. One can dry these flowers out and use around the home for years to come. This plant is often also considered a shrub because it can stand at five feet. The leaves are also rather large growing in an oval shape up to eight inches. When purchasing this plant remember its size to allow for adequate room to grow. If this plant is planted in too small of a space it will not grow as well and may even die. Plant it around a fence line or use as a focal point for the best look.
